Today we put live the first in a series of tour videos which show how simple Simplybill is to use. Look out for more in the coming weeks.

Simplybill has just been update with the most requested feature (by a huge margin). Now you can upload your own image header for invoices. Simply go to the settings page and upload your jpg.

Another update - this time to allow easier use of your Flickr photos. Previously you had to use your Flickr ID. To most people this was an unknown value that only appeared when logged into your account.
Now you can access your Flickr photos simply by entering your web alias. The one which appears in your unique Flick web address (easy to set up if you haven't yet got one - visit the Your Account page when next on Flickr).
For example, if your Flickr web address is:
www.flickr.com/photos/greatphotos/

Then simply enter greatphotos into the settings page on Simplybill and you'll be able to use your photos as headers for thank-you notes and reminders.

If you've previously been using your ID, you'll need to update your settings to your web alias in order to continue to pick up your chosen Flickr image.

Simplybill is now on shiny new hardware - and comes with a great new feature. You can now save your invoices as PDFs. Just click the button when viewing an invoice.

SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE: Simplybill will be unavailable for a few hours from 14:00 BST (GMT + 1) on the 1st May 2007.
This down-time will allow us to upgrade some servers and implement some core code fixes which should see website performance improve considerably.

Simplybill has just has a design re-fresh. We think it looks cleaner, and less-cluttered than before - and initial feedback says you do too! Let us know what you think.

Its been a while since we made any big updates - but a lot of behind-the-scenes work is now ready to go live. The first of these is "Quotations". Now you can create a quote for a client without it being a full invoice. However, its a simple click to convert this to a fully-fledged invoice. We think this much-needed feature will prove very popular.

Another small point some users have mentioned is the subject line of emailed invoices. This is now editable.

We have just updated Simplybill to allow invoices to display the clients VAT as well as your own. This is a requirement in some European countries.
